Avoiding awkward situations, parking at an angle, screaming at the TV, setting things on fire, not answering the phone, getting more for my money, oversleeping, rearranging my desk, flattening things, embellishing.

Tech manuals, mostly; video production, sound design, editing theory, lighting, web technology, css, and how-to books about specific software. The O'Rielly Hacks series is of particular kickass-ness in that category. I also dig conspiracy theory books, grammar standards manuals, and books ..right law. Fiction? Nikos Kazantzakis' Last Temptation of Christ. Best book ever.
