I helped coordinate the film festival at the DEEP BLUES MUSIC AND FILM FESTIVAL.
(That was a good load of fun! you should plan to go next time.) I'm also having a blast doing some band and venue booking.
I've started my own little band booking biz. It seems I am specializing in NW booking venues, but am really booking nationwide. callin' it

    My kids, new incarnations of roots music, helping pick great musicians for the Axe and Fiddle, the Fricken Red Sox!!! heckling Rick about Ikea, Dancing, making and looking at art, good food, great wine,(pineapple ginger wild turkey beverages) friends, movies, oooold poetry (1600's) old stuff, yard/garage sales, thrift store bargains, gardening, cooking, ..especially for/with family and friends,canoeing when I have time.

    Local Northwest and touring bands, North Mississippi,punk and trance blues, One Man Bands, bluegrass...new timey and olde timey, jug band, slide guitars and chromatic harmonicas, some jam bands if they have a mando or banjo player and liking lately African/Blues fusions, and listening to some straight up Malian/West African roots..also Punk Ska and the occasional classical bit. I do like the old school rock/Brit invasion stuff, learning about cool american artists I missed out on some how...mostly stringed stuff...sends shivers,
