Below are pics of Ullr Jam. It's a concert that we put on that is centered around an Ullr Burn. An Ullr Burn is an old Ski/Snowboard tradition where we sacrifice old ski/snowboard equipment to the Norse god of snow, Ullr. With performers like Tone Grown, MadHats, Chris Cady (formally of Sweatband) and Spliff, the concert is a pretty epic tradition and our main fundraiser.

About me: The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Ski/Snowboard Club is a club for Skiers/Snowboarders of all skill level, even if that is none at all, to get together and enjoy winter recreation. We are devoted to bringing affordable ways for members to develop new skills and practice old ones.

Who I'd like to meet: The Ski/Snowboard Club is open to anyone with an interest in skiing or snowboarding. You can join at any club event or meeting. Membership is $12.00.
It was a 23 day Season...Thats right, only 2 of the days were on ice, the rest was powder. I would like to thank Grand Targhee Resort for its good choice of location. I would also like to thank mother nature, with out you and your wonderful powers to create Champagne Powder up to my armpits Consistently down the mountain. But thats only the best day i had all year. Not to mention the free refills that were pretty much promised by the weather. Mostly i'm just happy for everytime i fell it was like falling into pillows where ever i decided to land. So take a risk, drive to a resort you have never skied before and ask for a job. You never know could end up being some of the best skiing you will ever have. Learn a new Mtn. Find its hidden jumps, Shacks, and back country that only the brave will explore. Take you backpack and walk untill there are no more foot pints, then go a lil futher, Earn your turns and it will become more than just a sport. It was a good season i hope you all enjoyed it as well, and Adam, Someday we will Ride again! Get ready to be scared, hahaha....
