Sevenrepeat is a one-man-queer-electronic-rock band that formed in 1992 under the name Dij in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dij acquired a name for themselves and quickly developed a cult following. The band consisted of three members; Mac Valentine (founder) and two guitarists. After a successful run for about a year, one guitarist left the band to start his own. Dij ran for a while longer with just the two remaining members but eventually disbanded. Mac kept the name Dij and did several solo projects under the name for years to follow. During that time Mac was also involved in other projects such as Bald Spot, Farfromit and Amp Shop. In 2000 he assumed the name Sevenrepeat and started over again.
Sevenrepeat has remained a solo project. In 2002 he was nominated in the New Mexico "MIC" Awards for the song "3 Hard Minutes". After many shows and a successful run in Albuquerque, he knew it was time to move to a place that would gain more exposure for him. He moved to Sacramento, California in October of 2005 and has focused on new studio projects. After many weeks of recording and writing, the final project titled "Beautiful Enemies" is finally out for sale on CDBaby.com and in the Sacramento area at any Dimple location or The Beat in midtown. It is also available on iTunes and other digital distributors. Sevenrepeat is currently setting up gigs to promote the album, so watch this page or sevenrepeat.com for an upcoming show near you.

Cuddly kitten, stoned & burned, dies in 'atrocious act of cruelty'
Philadelphia Daily News
Even after a 6-week-old kitten was pelted with stones and set on fire in a Chester alley Saturday afternoon, it didn't lash out. The brown tabby greeted Dave Schlott, a Delaware County animal control officer, by climbing up his shirt and snuggling against his neck. "It was cuddling, so I thought I'd name it Cuddles," Schlott said. "It was a really, really good-natured kitten." _________________End of partial quote_________ I have been very upset over this."And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up.." Charles Dickens.
