hmm... let's see:
sea area forecast are galvin, phil, dan and plug. they used to make loud music in a garage somewhere in cork; now they make music between shooting pheasant on phil's lavish country estate. they've each vigorously slutted themselves in loads of other bands, both musically and otherwise, in the hunt for meagre fame and financial reward. let's mention a few: weevil, lerner, the water reference, serotonin, hooray for humans and fuckloads of others. their sound has often been described as all of and none of the aforementioned bands, all mashed together with different melodies/rhythms and all the other people's parts taken out... another, more accurate description would be lots of sound waves of varying amplitude, phase, length and frequency, travelling through air and any other shit that's within vibrating distance (except vacuums). what else; they've been together about a year. hope that helps.
2008-07-04: EP plans are DEAD for now; some new songs have been spawned and there's talk of recording an album instead. no gigs either for the moment. we've taken down the dreadful old live recordings that we've had up for far too long now, and we're gonna put up some rough mixes from the EP recordings pretty soon.... and, that's all the weather! thanks for reading/gracias por leer.
