I'm a retired Navy guy and after years of songwriting decided this is the year I do something about it. I'm not saying I'll be rich and famous but I am saying that I'll put my songs out there (and here) :)

Most of my songs here are very rough demos although some of the music has been cut for me by the awesome Mr. Gary McVay at Gloryland Recording Studio (check out his myspace page via my friends list for more information on his studio and wonder Christian services). I'm still working on getting my vocals sounding halfway decent so you are pretty much listening to a work in progress (and I appreciate the patience while I try to get my act together) :)

One of the things I hope to do by Christmas this year is to put out a CD of Gospel/Christian songs. If I am successful, you'll read about it here first, lol.

One thing I love about MySpace Music is that there is every kind of music available and even in just the Christian genre. I love all Christian music (yes, even Rap) and think if the music worships God then that is what matters. My choice of Christian is mostly country because it is easier to play with my limited Guitar skills, lol. While I do try to practice, I suspect I'm not going to get much better in my second 50 years than I did in my first, and that is ok.

PRCA Bullfighter / Cpl Chris Mason spoke these words on his last visit to Life church in Mobile Alabama before he returned to Iraq. He lost his life 44 days later after being ambushed by Al-Qaeda terrorist... At the time of his death Cpl Mason was "holding tight and standing firm"
