| General | Surfing. Is there anything else, really? J/K - family, of course...St. John's basketball (tough couple of years), big Yankee fan, love kids in general, and helping insure the elderly get proper medical care (it's a long story). Did some sailing and sailboat racing in the past, played all sorts of sports, would rather play anything than watch anything on TV, but still will spend the occ but very rare Sunday on the couch watching a good game (hey, I'm a guy, it's in the rulebook..we HAVE to once in a while!).
Did I mention that I love to surf? | | Music | Springsteen. Old Springsteen. OK, a couple of songs after "Darkness", but not many.
Nickelback. Except that stupid "Photograph" song.
Pearl Jam. Except that stupid "Where oh where can my baby be" song.
Lots of other stuff. My iPod is a boulliabaise of music. (did I spell that right? prob not.)
Got a soft spot for any song sung with passion/emotion. | | Movies | What are movies? I have this really great friend who knows everything about movies, and I know next to nothing. I'd know nothing at all, but I secretly watch "ET" sometimes, and I see clips of movies and people who think or might actually be movie stars. Anyway, this best friend of mine knows everything, so I just ask her. | | Television | I'm watching the Jeff Foxworthy show as I type this. Pretty much explains why I long ago stopped watching anything much other than nick at night, cartoons, and the occ sports program. Nahh....actually, i love the TV...makes a great place to put pictures and birthday/holiday cards. ;-) | | Books | Damn. Wish I had time to read a book. Might actually try it again sometime, it's been a while. Love to read magazines, tho, and often read "Discover" cover to cover. | | Heroes | My Dad. Seriously. Everyone else is a distant 2nd, but that list includes Thurman Munson (long story), and anyone who stands tall for what they believe in, despite the consequences. |

About me:
Married to a very beautiful really great woman, with two reasonably attractive kids, considering who their dad is. ;-)
I'm a healthcare professional, and run a business which I really like. I spend whatever time I can surfing, or daydreaming about surfing, or posting on some ridiculously fun (and often just ridiculous) surfing message board, located at www.nynjsurf.com.

Who I'd like to meet:
Brooke Burke. If things go well, I wont be needing to meet anyone else, ever. ;-) Well, I suppose it'd be cool to talk with Gerry Lopez for a while. Would LOVE to talk with Greg Noll for about a year, and just listen to him talk old surf stories. Slightly off topic, but here's a couple of people who I already know that I'd like to meet up with again: There's this guy I know who lives in Hawaii now named Ed, never got nearly as much chance to talk with him as I would have liked..maybe someday. I have a feeling he and I have more in common than we know - just a hunch. My Aunt Dorothy...my dad's sister. She's passed away from Alzheimer's now, but damn, I'd give anything for one more day of talking to her in her prime. Classy, smart, and funny - razor sharp humor, and full of a million stories of my dad and her and growing up togther, and how he was just a terror - hilarious, but a terror nontheless. And Nancy Roesch, my best friend from HS. Never a romantic interest really, just a really great person, and just so much fun to talk to and spend time with. I think she still lives somewhere close, I keep thinking one of these days our paths are just gonna cross again - even for an hour it would be fun to see where life took her, and tell her where my life has led me. That's enough for now...prob add more later. Or not.
