Both of us (Ali and Kevin) enjoy outdoor activities. We both enjoy sailing, hiking, climbing, ice skating, swimming etc. We love to spend time together and enjoy listening to music, taking care of our pets and maintaining our fish tanks.
Music
We both enjoy a mix of music, mostly classic rock, hippie tunes, and oldies.
Clearly the Seafarer is named after one of the greatest songs ever
Clearly there are some errors in this particular interpretation of the lyrics, but I liked the whole scrolling effect. Anyhow, I know there are some errors.
Movies
We both enjoy a good thriller, but favorite movies include Little Miss Sunshine, Big Fish, The Star Wars series, The LOTR series, Love Actually, Forrest Gump... etc
Television
Our favorite shows are House, M*A*S*H and Freaks and Geeks
Books
Ali loves to read while Kevin loves it when Ali reads to him... they enjoy just about anything!
Hi, this page is being maintained by Kevin and Ali Fowler.
This page is dedicated to our new boat, a Seafarer (Rhodes) Meridian, soon to be named Sugar Magnolia. We are two college students on a tight budget, living on our own. We both love sailing and have been going through a lot in terms of deciding whether or not to get a boat and what would be feasible. We went to go look at the Seafarer at our old high school (The Sound School in New Haven CT) and were offered it for free seeing as the previous owner (our old vice principal) just wanted it to go to a good home. It is a PROJECT boat, though no where near as bad as the Tempest we tried to take on when we were still living with our parents. The Seafarer is in the water and a lot of the restoration won't take place until we can haul the boat (which won't be for another year)... however, we wanted to start documenting the restoration process since we've enjoyed looking at other people's restoration projects online. ENJOY!!!
