The big three U.S. auto manufacturers are begging for bucks to stay afloat. The Seagulls urge you to write your elected representatives right now and demand that if any of your tax dollars are used to bail out the big three (GM, Ford & Chrysler), that it be contingent upon their making available an affordable, fully functional, 100% electric car, with at least a 200 mile to a charge battery, within a year of the bailout. Now keep in mind, it is a fact, that GM had an electric car (EV-1) over 12 years ago that got over 125 miles to a charge. GM junked "all" of these electric autos, despite public protest, and sold the battery rights to Exxon! And who says the auto manufacturers and oil companies aren't in cahoots? With the advancement in technology there should be batteries available that could get at least 200 miles, if not more, to a charge. We did land a man on the moon in the 60's, right? We've recently landed craft on Mars too! And we have a space station orbiting earth. So don't tell us the technology isn't available. Truth is the technology has existed for many years. But the auto manufacturers and oil companies don't want you to have an electric car. Well it's your turn to call the shots. They want your money so tell 'em they have to produce an electric car to get it. If you need more information about the electric car, please watch the DVD "Who Killed The Electric Car" (link below). But right now, please write or call your elected officials and demand they require the manufacture of the 100% electric car before they give one cent of your hard earned tax dollars to the big three. And by all means write and call Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid who have led the charge for the bailout. Contact information is posted below. If you get a reply, other than a form letter, please send it to us and we'll post it on the website. Thank you so much for reading this.
Peace, love, & electric cars,

CBS's 60 Minutes recently stuck its toe in the electric car water. There was a quick mention of GM crushing their entire fleet of EV-1's over 12 years ago. No mention of the Toyota RAV-4 that is still operational in California. But at least they were talking about the electric car. In case you missed it, the video footage is posted below.
