9-25-2008 recording for a Folktale Records cassette release and a Bridgetown Records cd-r release
10-10-2008 sam's coming over tomorrow to help me record for the cassette and kevin and i have been recording on and off this past couple of weeks for the cd-r. im really excited and grateful for both.
12-4-2008 finished recording my first release with Bridgetown Records. Chris is working on album art for the Folktale cassette and i'll be recording more tracks for that sometime soon.
1-9-2008 my brother's birthday today! also I just got asked to do a cd comp with mycroft holmes, whitman, starburst crystal ensemble, john thill, and others(!). I'm a huge fan of all of them so just the thought of getting asked to be on it is extremely flattering.
1-20-2009 just finished recording the tracks for the Folktale cassette!
2-12-2009 excited about the show on friday w/ Anni Rossi. Im planning on debuting this new song ive been working on about valentines day but my brother sings on it with me so if he's not home then i wont be able to do it.
4-9-2009 i just finished up my side of the Blue Crush split cass. with Kevin Greenspon under his Bridgetown records label. It's really poppy and wierd. Also my tour's looking to be really fun. I'm leaving for that on the 23rd. The smell show's getting a lot of drama but I'm still playing it and it'll be real fun so people come out if you can to support. Much love and such. I'll have new songs up on here soon I promise, the ones up here right now kinda suck huh?
4-25-2009 tour's going good so far. the trunkspace show was killer. me and Whitman are working on a tour diary with art and journal and such. come out tonight if you can for the smell show. I think we might stop by the women show afterwards but that all depends with times and such. the cassette release show for the s/t folktale tape is tomorrow too, come out to that too if you can. im really trying to make my live sets more better with each time i play by like talking to the audience and such so please feel free to chat it up with me when i play, it really helps in de-stressing the whole live playing thing.
4-28-2009 Santa Barbara show was awesome! lots of really nice people i met there, couldnt have been more fun. im so happy a bunch of my friends drove from the IE to support our tour. staying at rebecca's house tonight, real nice of her. it was nice seein mandy and meeting his friends, i dont know, it was a really really nice evening. im completely content with it.
5-2-2009 Sorry Sacramento, Berkeley, Long Beach, etc. Had to cancel tour half-way cause everything started to blow up and get heavy and destructive and like life's not making sense and all. And I'm sorry Davis for my set being so depressing. I felt like when i was playing like I was gonna die or something and im sure that I was a real killjoy cause all of you seemed to be having a lot of fun before i played. I dont know, im really sorry about it all. I'll be home tomorrow i think. Currently spending a few nights at John Thill's house in Napa with Whitman recooperating our heads. Thank you everybody who'd came out and supported our tour and blessed us places to sleep, it was my first time pretty much out of my own home in my whole life and it was a very welcoming experience. Thank you
5-15-2009 Really awesome news! I'm invited to have a song of mine's on a comp under Cal Arts or something, not really sure, but Drew Denny is asking and she's cool so i'm doing it. And i just got an offer from Deathbomb Arc to release a cd-r or something! I've been a fan of DBA for years now so that is just about one of the coolest things to have happen to me. 7-14-2009 Just wrote a new song about binge eating. Its a sing along. Also Blue Crush will be re-released on CD and im going on a mini-tour with Kevin Greenspon.

It's what im working on right right now. it'll be mainly centered around girls and love and all that stuff. Recorded by myself in my home in west covina on 4-track.
b) (cd-r / Deathbomb Arc)
Dosent have a title yet but i think its going to have some of my favorite live recordings, some early demos and lots of new keyboard and guitar stuff too. I'm re-recording a lot of my very first songs for this release like "Life Really Sucks" and "Bottom of the Ocean." I'm very excited for it and i think ya'll will really enjoy it too.
c) (7" / Folktale Records)
It'll definitely be really pop. I know exactly what'll be on it but i havent recorded for it yet. This one wont be released for a while i dont think but spoiler alert is that it'll have a new cleaner/dancier version of THIRT FOR GOD and my friend Molly says she'd like to work on a music video for the song that'll hopefully be synched up with the release of the 7". I'm excited!
NEWS: i'm also going to be interviewed this coming wednesday by BIG WHUP INDUSTRIES for their website so i'll let ya'll know how that goes when its up for the public and whatever.
10-1-09 today's going good. My kittens are all mini-cats now (no longer fuzzy monkeys). TOUR IN DECEMBER WITH K_GREENSPON! i'm going to be shipping over the new songs i've been working on to Mandy for the Obeast Tapes release "TEEN WORSHIP". and I'm also going to be working pretty hard these next couple of weeks to release a cd off another label. Both will be ready by December (hopefully) for the KG/NK tour winter '09! Please come out to the women show tomorrow if you can, its gonna be fun! with: CLARK 8, WHITMAN, STEPHEN STEINBRINK, COLE MOLDY and GOES CALYPSO! I'm bringing my A-game for sure!

My attempts to create an Open at the Mama Buzz Cafe have failed. The will be no open mic at the Mama Buzz cafe. The "Every Second Sunday" open mic has been double booked for the second month in a row. It is clear I'm not suited to be the host of an open mic. Thank you all for your interest and support.
