Clean white and ocean blue turn to Red disgusting devastation and mass slaughter as masses of bodies are left on the ice after Canadian seal killers wipe out the moulted seals in the nursery & whelping areas of the harp seal.
Mother seals, frightened away by gunshots & Canadian sealers, return to the ice pans and go looking for their baby's body, sniffing through piles of discarded meat & still warm carcasses steaming on the ice. Canadian sealers garbage the meat & leave over 90% of the meat on the ice to rot. They only peel off their skins for the money.

The Barry Group obtain in excess of $4 million dollars taken from Canadian people in subsidies, meanwhile that 4 million exceeds the entire worth of the income from this year's seal hunt. In other words, the hunt is a financial loss to Canada.

Dion Dakins is the man whose actions resulted in the deaths of over 200 grey seals beaten to death in a protected Hay Island Nova Scotia wilderness area.
In 2009, the grey seal hunt was to be called off, until Dion Dakins put up a bounty offering payment for 200 skins as "showpieces"

NEWS: "10 CANADIAN SEAL HUNTERS CONVICTED IN COURT"
10 Sealers in Newfoundland Canada have now been found guilty of violating Federal Law. The Seal Clubbers have been convicted of killing infant baby seals. In addition, they killed their pregnant mothers.
This is testimony from Canadian Sealers Released under court order, under the Freedom of Information Act
TESTIMONY: "I did see some mother seals killed and the pup fall out on deck still alive. (Deleted by DFO) told me to throw it overboard and I did. It crawled up on a pan of ice. The mother was full of milk, the milk ran out on deck when the pup fell out." Sealer's statement, taken by Cyril Furlong, Department of Fisheries and Oceans
SEALER'S WORDS: "During the second trip we left fifteen or twenty pups alone after taking the family. There were mistakes made by killing pregnant female hoods, this happened approximately six times but they never came out on deck. I am an experienced sealer so I knew they were pregnant. We were not saving the meat so the pup went over aboard with the carcass." Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans
Note: These acts show a past history and Pattern of behavior of Canadian Sealers. It is important to note, these acts were perpetrated subsequent to the 1987 whitecoat law, making the killing of whitecoats a federal crime. And when observers *could* be present. The Canadian govt has enacted a law prohibiting you (the world) from watching them now, so with no one watching, Sealers now have no one around to check for this type of criminal act.
NEWFOUNDLAND CANADIAN SEALER'S WORDS:
"I seen a female being pelted and the pup came out of her when they cut her open, the pup was dead. This seal was killed for a while. This was on the day we got one hundred and seventy. Someone passed the comment, 'If Green peace were only here to see this.'" Canadian Seal Hunter's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 22/98, 15:15 hrs
These few Newfoundland SealHunters were caught when investigators found records documenting their names on records showing they had tried to sell the ill-gotten skins peeled off the animals, to the Carino Corporation. Carino corporation is the slaughter and skin processing plant located in Newfoundland Canada. Records found at the Canadian company revealed they had purchased multiple blue-back infant seal skins. Often to be turned into evening wear and dresses for wealthy debutantes and the fashion show uppercrust.
And how long did it take to get them in court? These offenses occurred in 1996. It is now 2009. To get just these 10 sealers out of over 5 thouand of them and thousands of violations like this, to face their crimes, took over 13 years, in possibly one of the longest trial cases in Canadian history. The DFO and government appointed Fisheries Ministers, like Gail Shea, condone, coddle, foment, and encourage these sealers. Either making insignificant 'token' arrests with fines of only 152 dollars, akin to getting a parking ticket, or overlooking violations altogether by the thousands in a poorly-regulated fiasco they call the seal hunt. If you could call it a hunt, the seals aren't running away, and the sealers are killing them & their babies in what is the seal's baby NURSERY area.) Finally, for 1 Judge, the dirt could not be swept under the rug by Sealers and negligent DFO or government officials any longer, and it was brought before a judge who when faced with the solidity of theevidence had no choice but to convict. 1 of them got free. Although his name was also found in the documents, it was on a separate sheet. So he is still out there.

Scene 1: Killing taking 3 hits
Seal Hunters often say they only kill in 1 hit. False.
Scene 2: 2 hits inserting hakapik into mouth
Seal Hunters often deny they stick the bladed hakapik into seals mouths. Proof:
Scene 3: Seal hit in head, lost in ocean
Sealers often say none suffer. This shows some are hit & then slip into the ocean and are lost. Still suffering from abuse & crushed tissue.
Scene 4: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 hits, drags seal still flipping around alive, standing there doing nothing, then steps on head leaves it.
Seal Hunters often claim they kill quick & humane. There is even a law for it. This shows a sealer hitting 5 times & the seal is still alive. Then he stands there, letting it suffer. This is proof. And even worse, Sealers take their boots and step on seals necks, spine, and he steps on its head.

Sealers say they dont waste. Here is a sealer throwing a seal and meat into the water.

Sealers say they dont kill babies. Or white coats. When whitecoats molt, they change from white to gray at only about 12 to 14 days old. Midway they still have partly white fur as they are molting. This shows a Sealer hitting seals with still partial white coat.
Sealers & Seal hunting hurts the entire nation of Canada and its people. Th government spends millions of dollars to seal processing plants, takes vacations & trips to paris & australia to try to force people to buy their seal pelts which nobody wants. They try to sell the meat which is contaminated, to Koreans, and sell seal penis's (yes, the seals genitals) to the black markets in china telling them its an aphrodisiac for men. And they try to sell the fur to Russians and other communist countries for elderly rich ladies in wealthy fashion shows. The money is taken from good canadians, via taxes to prop up the hunt which loses money for Canada. Stop these Sealers and their crimes.
Canada & the DFO arrested NOT the people with weapons who were bashing skulls & stepping on animals heads & letting them suffer, Canada arrested the people merely holding a camera trying to get photographic proof of these crimes. And the charge? Canada Arrested people simply for being near them and taking these pictures for you & the world to see.
What you are watching is still happening now. In our midst. Boycott Canadian seafood. And support the EU seal hunt ban.
