Tags: General Hospital Seamus Dever is keeping his medical scrubs but switching hospitals. Recently killed off of "General Hospital" as oncologist-turned-hit man Dr. Ian Devlin, he's checking into "Army Wives" as an Army doc nicknamed Getti -- and a love interest for Catherine Bell's character, Denise.
Seamus, 31, has signed on for at least four episodes of the Lifetime drama and has already shot two. He'll first appear June 29 as a funny and flirtatious type who encourages Denise to ride the motorcycle she received as a gift from a patient. The two go riding together and become friends -- and possibly more, since her soldier hubby is deployed to the war zone.
Meanwhile, the June 8 second season opener deals with the aftermath of the Hump Bar suicide bombing that ended Season 1 in a cliffhanger. The tragedy plays out in flashback as the characters recall what happened that night -- and as you might suspect, not everyone survived. But exactly who died isn't revealed till the end, and it's a shocker! There are a few more surprises as well, including a change in one marital relationship.
