I am interested in video games, music, movies, books, history, science... all sorts of "interests". But, what are my passions... I like old school role playing games, like Dungeons and Dragons... I am into medieval recreation, i.e. Renaissance Faire stuff... hmmm... I really dig on doing my art projects. Various stuff to make the time pass by.
Music
Should I start listing bands.. nah. I like Rock and Roll. From oldies to modern and all that lies in between. I also like some country music every now and then. I listen to a lot of jazz when I am in my car (It cuts down on road rage). Classical music is nice in all its depth and complexity. I am not really a fan of current pop music, but I do like a lot of 80's pop. Rap is rarely something I want to hear... almost never want to hear. I prefer music that makes me feel energized and good.
Movies
Movies are one of those things that are chosen depending on a mood or situation, I think. Or are chosen for the sake of creating a mood or encouraging a situation. Wanna laugh, watch a comedy. Wanna feel your heart jump, watch a horror film. Wanna be intimate, watch a romance. I watch what I feel like watching, whether it be "Casa Blanca" or "Saw". Are we defined by the movies we watch or are the movies we watch defined by us.
Television
I don't watch any TV regularly anymore. Just like the movies though it depends on what I am in the mood for. Could be Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, or it could be Discovery Channel showing something on shark attacks. Never know. Could be just watching that channel that shows the bar graph measuring signal strength and integrity. Just kidding, or am I?
Books
With books I tend to gravitate toward fantasy or science fiction. Sometimes a good Stephen King book is thrown in the mix. Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles are must read material. But, oh my god, I have even been reading the Harry Potter series. Talk about eclectic tastes.
Heroes
There is no doubt in my mind that Optimus Prime the Autobot leader from Transformers is my ultimate hero. That robot never let me down as a role model. Death to the Decepticon scum of the universe.
