I kinda do Nu-Jazz, Spoken-Word, Electro-Funk (well its summin lik tht anyway) and throw in abit of rock & soul and cause of my background theres R&B, Hip-Hop, reggae and 80's Pop + New jack swing wit abit of 90's funk / jazz- its all rather strange but makes sence LIVE lolz. coming from the heart of West Africa & South East London (ZOOP ZOOP), i was exposed to such influences as The Streets, Prince & Erykah Badu among other afro-beat influences (u gotta lov them though, remember Bunny Mack, funnily enough i think he's in my family). Though writing songs / poetry and singing from an early age, i guess i really wanted to do this seriously at the age of 17 where, i joined Rock-Soul-Funk jam sessions group fronted by Chris (top friends) and Ash stymest (top friends). Now disbanded time ago, but all still doin there own ting.
Really all I can say is that i love to perform, gimme a mic, and i'll rock it, Period!
Right now i'm in the process of working alongside University of Northampton, and creating group sessions for musicains and guest mentors. Gettin work experience in the fashion industry, being given slots on the Lily Allen Show, Guestlister / Club Promoter for Bangers&Mash, Fero Fero & MetParties loolz (covering clubs: Punk, Aura, Ghost, Hoxton Pony, Proud & Notting hill Arts club) in process for becoming an A&R. Plus i'm gunna start Djing very soon.
Currently in Uni studyin Popular Music & Media Production, alls well!! gunna post music up soon, just waaaaaay to much of a perfectionist to put up rough shit, untill we meet again, coolio's. G x
