This is a fun tune to mess around with . Winnipeg Manitoba Canada artist - Sarah Collard painted a 8 foot by 2 foot high impression of my performance at Le Garage in Winnipeg - check it out in the "brass and Gold Tour photos" section - of my photo gallery - just press the photos tab under the profile pic - Thanks Sarah -I love it ! A busy year , 4 Canadian tours ( 5 if you include the one late last year ) - to promote my solo cd - so in about a 14 month period i have played about 230 solo cd shows back and forth across Canada . If you add in the 40 plus shows with Delerium as live guitarist i have played over 300 shows in the last 14 months !!! crazy ! The Delerium shows last year . Most notable was an Eastern Europe tour ... that brought us all the way to Moscow - to bring the music of Bill Leeb and his co-writing singers to all those folks . Delerium also did a US tour where we made and met more fans including the actor who played "Pedro" from "Napolean Dynamite" ... "vote for Bill Leeb" was a tshirt that he gave Bill ! lol ... for real . Fun stuff . VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO MY SHOWS THIS YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check youtube - "Delerium live" for all sorts of live vids - > 2008 was a busy year - lots of solo cd shows in Canada . The guitar playing part of the story begins ... when I was 14 -I was an aspiring artist -illustrator - avid music listener . As a young teenager I took over the basement as an art studio , I set an area up to make home made animated movies .. I made two short clips - took forever . Anyway , I used to sit in front of my drawing board with headphones on (40 foot cable wrapped thru the basement over to my stereo - like a clothesline) . I thought I could draw more accurate guitar player pics if I took some lessons . Bam ! I was hooked on the guitar . Soon it took over and I let the drawing side go and pursued music . I have a solo cd out Sean Ashby Brass And Gold -produced by myself - and now ....drum roll please - the name dropping section ! - this cd was mixed by Warne Livesy -Talk Talk , The The , Happy Mondays , Midnight Oil , Jets Overhead and recently completed working with Chris Walla from the "Death Cab For Cutie" camp his solo cd .
