A western Canadian tour goes from July 15th to Aug 12th . Lots of shows for the Brass And Gold CD this year . a YouTube video was recently uploaded -thanks Shirley- of a show recently in London -Canada- vocals only thru the PA - a warm up show at The London Music Club - great place - great vibe - check it out - In May 2008 I went to Eastern Europe to tour with Delerium as guitarist - there are live videos of the band on this tour on YOUTUBE - check em out ! Also I just posted some photos in my Pics section . These shots are from Mike Hiratzka - he played bass on this tour and works with Kristy Thursk on her solo project - thanks for the pics Mike ! The guitar playing part of the storey begins ... when I was 14 -I was an aspiring artist -illustrater - Avid music listener . As a young teenager I took over the basement as an art studio , I set an area up to make home made animated movies .. i made two short clips - took forever . Anyway , I used to sit in front of my drawing board with headphones on (40 foot cable wrapped thru the basement over to my stereo - like a closeline) . i thought i could draw more accurate guitar player pics if i took some lessons . Bam ! I was hooked on the guitar . Soon it took over and I let the drawing side go and pursued music . I have a solo cd out Sean Ashby Brass And Gold -produced by myself - and now ....drum roll please - the name dropping section ! - this cd was mixed by Warne Livesy -Talk Talk , The The , Happy Mondays , Midnight Oil , Jets Overhead and recently completed working with Chris Walla from the "Death Cab For Cutie" camp his solo cd .

Sean and his boys kicked the room, 100% from everyone, lots of chemistry between these guys and a great live vibe. This is a "Rock" show without any doubt, all songs were very tight and close to the overall sense of the Brass And Gold recordings in my opinion. Nice ending with Star 98 and the little ACDC cover before that was nice too. CD release part is April 24th, a must for anyone who digs a real live show, plus Sean's smooth vocals and killer playing.
