Sean Barnett is the Australia and NSW #1 Litre Car driver. He started his racing career in Karts in 1984 and progressed to Compact Speedcars in 1987, racing at the now defunct Liverpool Speedway. Sean developed his race craft in these very quick race cars before switching to the more powerful Litre Sprintcar division in 1994.
Sean immediately began to show his style very early, by winning at his 3rd ever event at the very fast Wangaratta Speedway track (Vic). Since moving into Litre Cars, he has become one of the leading headlining drivers. In the early years, minor troubles plagued his small team but he duly persevered during this period and has come out on top of his game!
