As a member of North Carolina’s critically-lauded Justus League/Hall of Justus crew, rapper Sean Boog is no stranger to fans of quality hip-hop.
Inducted into the Justus League in 2001 after several mixtape efforts and guest appearances (most notably, The Foreign Exchange’s “Connected” album in 2004), he later formed the group The Away Team with producer Khrysis. The duo made their debut in 2005 with the release of “National Anthem” on Hall of Justus/6Hole Records. The album, which featured guest appearances from Boot Camp Click and Little Brother, received positive reviews and international press coverage in The Source, XXL, and King Magazine.
Since the release of “National Anthem,” Boog has toured and performed internationally with Little Brother, Royce Da 5’9, Boot Camp Click, Tha Liks, and Dilated Peoples.
He is currently featured on 9th Wonder’s upcoming “Dream Merchant Vol. 2” album, and is hard at work on the Away Team’s long-awaited sophomore disc entitled “Scars and Stripes,” scheduled for release later this year.
