GeneralWhat am I not interested in? This section is too vague and I don't want to get too vivid for the sake of time! In terms of immediacy and to see what has become my daily ritual, visit www.ted.com it's brilliant.
MusicTrance, electronica, ambient, Duncan Sheik, Dixie Chicks, Cocteau Twins, Enya, Sarah McChlachan, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, John Lennon and a lot of older music.
MoviesPan's Labyrinth, Contact, Pride and Prejudice (2006), Into The Wild, Amadeus, Blade Runner, Hannah And Her Sisters, Heat, Chinatown, Gone With The Wind, Kill Bill 2, As Good As It Gets, La Dolace Vita, Moonstruck, Thelma and Louise, some Marilyn Monroe movies, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Kubrick's "2001" and the list goes on. I tend to watch more documentaries than I do movies.
Televisionanimal planet and Discovery. I like the 60s show "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Allo Allo" and the 80s/90s show "Unsolved Mysteries". One of my all time favorite TV shows is Twin Peaks. I don't own a tv because it is mind polluting and the other reason is that time is just so fleeting.
BooksThe Science Of Self-Realization, The Last Lecture, Left To Tell, Illusions, The Alchemist, Contact,The Four Agreements, Theory of the Avant-Garde, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Science And The Akashic Field, The Hidden Messages of Water, Science And the reenchantment of the cosmos, Astral Projection: The out of body experience, The Story Of Thought, The Pig Who Sang to the Moon, Jane Austin novels, and the list goes on. I tend to read non-fiction.

About me:
with respect to myspace/facebook, wasn't andy warhol right when he said everybody in the future will be famous for fifteen minutes? some wise friends of mine suggested i make a myspace page for my art. it's a bit of a toothache for me to write about myself as i am slightly nondescript, so let's despite my coyness and start the randomness! i attended uofa for studio art where i procured my inner postmodernist sensibility and i’m not ruling out the possibility of going to graduate school. art is quite literally my life. it can be surreal sometimes staring at seven blank wood panels and then seeing them come to fruition. if you're curious and want to know why i create paintings the way i do, just go to my official website. i'm almost a typical gemini. ya know, fun loving, benevolent, satirical, goofy, great sense of humor, easily liked, gets bored easily, impassive, and young at heart with the exception of not being two-faced, multi-personality afflicted, or contrary. i am also the type that clashes instantly with nefarious and pretentious personality types. pretentiousness is just an outward reflection of inner insecurity, so i adopt a frivolous attitude towards this conduct because it's such a cringe worthy and tepid experience. i've also had the misfortune of being in the company of some people who obtusely use the world 'ugly' while referring to a person's physicality and i find this to be vulgar and dispiriting. It’s a no brainer that what we say and how we act towards people is an outward reflection of how we feel about ourselves. i should get down from my pulpit before you assume i'm self righteous. anyhow, i crave and appreciate my independence and i’m very free spirited. What might be boring for me one week might be fascinating for me the next, and vise versa. i am the type who is fascinated and curious about the many facets of life that help bring me a lot closer to the truth; paradoxically, science and metaphysics both explain what the other cannot. i think our consciousness is illusory and it can also seduce our sense perceptions that makeup our grasp on the material world to appear to be the be all and end all and this isn't an esoteric realization. there are things we can’t do except while being in a physical body--just as there are also things we can’t do except while being outside the body (the cycle of birth/death, etc.) i could go on and on about why life is deliberately ephemeral and why you’re not just your physical body but you're not here for another random learning experience, so i'll refrain from going on too much. if a person can grasp the abstraction of 'being more than just their physical body,' the universe conspires in their pursuit in wanting to learn more and just when you least expect it, true enlightenment ensues; i hope to learn a lot while "leasing" my body! suffice it to say, i consider everyone to be a spirit having a physical experience. everyday my perspectives change and they could be measured in millimeters or milestones and i'm usually conscientious of becoming a better version of the person i was yesterday. i expect a lot from myself and i definitely do not put myself on any pedestal. and yet, having said that, i wouldn't want to be anyone else other than who i am.

Maybe it was a bit too much for Govinda's, but Derec insisted that I dress up. Anyway, hope the zits on my nose weren't as distracting. My buddy lost his shoes last night. I suppose someone mistakenly took them. Let me know if you hear anything. They were size 13. Does this happen often???

hahahahaha!!!!!! I knew something was missing from my life! BTW have you checked out Britney's new video? It was actually shot at my work and I met the Director a few days before the shoot and he was so taken by my look that he made her hair like mine in the office segment and her style is like mine in the server segment. soooooo funny. So here's the link, enjoy some Jillian Lane impersonation at it's best:
