About me:
Here is a song that was written for me.. this will explain who I am... "Sean Claes Rocks Like Slayer" by Adam Donmoyer and the Naughty Bits.
I am Sean Claes.
I started writing when I was very little and very young. Those early stories had a lot of typos. They were mostly about green-faced witches and playing with friends. I began writing about bands in 1996 when I moved up to San Marcos to finish college. My first story was on Jerry Jeff Walker. What an introduction to the world of entertainment. Since then I've interviewed lots of folks... area musicians like Terri Hendrix, Patrice Pike, Guy Forsyth, She Craves, Blue October, Powderburn, and Walt Wilkins... and national musicians like Phil Anselmo, Jet, Darius Rucker, Hank Williams III, Duff McKagan, Darrell Scott, HURT, Tom Araya, In Flames, Jason Mraz, Garth Brooks, and others.
On a personal note, I'm totally in love with my wife, Jodie (married in 10/01), and daughters Marlee (born in 4/04) and Harper (born in 4/07).
We live just south of Austin, Texas...; closer to Gruene Hall (Gruene, TX), Cheatham Street Warehouse (San Marcos), and The Salt Lick (Driftwood, TX), but not so far away from Austin's La Zona Rosa, Flamingo Cantina, Red Eyed Fly and Dirty Dog Bar.

Well, dolls, we are moving from the (lets just call it the first) Doll house. We are going to have one final party to celebrate. We are saving our fundage for the move so I'd like to ask that you byob and/ or your favorite finger food or snack type dish for munchies. The Reverend Jonny Flash will go on at 8:30 sharp and One-eyed Doll will soon follow at 9:30, so be there early. I hope that you will come for our last big bash in this house, but if you cannot please do not feel badly about telling me you can't make it. Please just RSVP. Thank you. See you there!
