About me:

I was born in Baltimore, MD and now I reside in San Diego, CA. There was much in between. Sean Dietrich is one of San Diego's premiere artists/live painters. From the age of 5 when he declared to his mother that "I'm going to be and artist when I grow up", to the now expansive career that encompasses the comic, gaming, and movie industries, Dietrich's art has been a journey of unparalleled originality and fierceness. Sean's comics have earned him comparisons with artistic and literary giants such as Ralph Steadman, Hunter Thompson, Tim Burton, and Orson Welles, and are some of the most twisted books in the industry today. Clients have included Playstation, Asahi Beer, Stone Arch Books, and Rorschach Entertainment. With no formal training, and whether painting live in front of thousands of people or at home creating a new series of paintings that will test the limits of your imagination, Dietrich has been dropping his artistic incendiary bombs for years, and the Blitzkrieg against mediocrity and repetition in the art world continues... VINCENT IS A DUMPSTER BABY born of a mentally challenged woman and a pill popping orderly at the asylum she's in. Besides this, and the fact that he's physically deformed with 4 foot long arms and 1 foot long legs, he's the best bar piano player/tv commercial jingle singer out there. After 25 years of playing piano at the same bar, he leaves for home on what he thinks is a typical night. Shots ring out--that land Vincent in the hospital--and so does the realization that he's never had his own audience to hear his songs. The bar he plays at hides him behind a curtain because of his deformities. His only comfort lies with in the whiskey bottle and conversations with a beautiful waitress who gives him the shoulder to lean on. With the help of the detective that found him in the trash so many years ago, he sets out to fake his own death in order to achieve success. When a 500 pound girl's daydreams of being thin turn obsessive, she uses real life atrocities against over confident business men for fuel; imagining herself as a thin, attractive, coke addicted call girl who picks up those same people and murders them in their beds. The story of a boy named Schmaltz and his journey from killing his mother with an egg beater to him being cloned. Cast of charaters includes Jake, Schmaltz's clone, who is chased around with by Ernie, a hallucinated teddy bear, who keeps him shot up with an unknown substance that eliminates his ability to keep memories. We also catch up with Natalie, who owns a looming factory that produces two thirds of the nation's electronics, but keeps a grip over her mentally by inducing nightmares of what the factory once held. In an anti-consumer climax, Natalie shows the world just what she thinks of our spending habits.
