Until further notice, I will not be writing any new music for this page. I am currently working with my band The New Monarchs. Check it out kids!
Sean Hogan is a solo artist, based out of Minneapolis/Eau Claire, who plays a wide variety of musical styles. Songs can range from stripped down acoustic songs, to multi-layered alternative rock and electronic songs.
Sean's main instrument is guitar - but keyboards, piano, harmonica, and drum machines have become new additions to his musical arsenal.
Sean has finished four complete albums to this day, including: So It Goes (2002), Transverse (2003), Over & Over Again (2004), Guitar Strings and the Memories (2005).
Sean is also a member of the band, The New Monarchs. Fellow band mate Taylor Nelson is a common addition to Sean's own solo work both musically and lyrically. Live shows usually consist of Hogan and Nelson.

top 10 is reserved for people I actually hear from once and a while!! ;) Sadly, no I won't be back for EC HC. You should consider coming home next weekend and getting all sorts of hammered with me for my b-day!
Whatever, Sean. I never see you anymore. I never hear from you. AND you delete my song? If I didn't know any better, I might think you hate me or something... :P
I'm heading back to Stevens Point this weekend for the world's largest trivia contest. But after that I'm pretty much free every weekend, of course I'd have to check with my secretary first. Anyway, I hope to talk to you soon, I've still got your cell # so I'll give you a call.
i like that new song 'reach'.... very much like pablo honey/cure-esque...you know that kind of up beat 80s english pop thing. i would think it would be fun to play with a band and get like a real wall of sound on it and let those jingle jangle guitar bits off the hook. i maybe think you dont need to put effects on your voice. i think your voice is good enough on its own. maybe you want it to have a distinctive quality but i am unsure if thats the quality you would want. like your voice was good on the one with the harp. you didnt need to fiddle with it . i guess i am more a fan of the natural. like however the fuck you feel at x time being the recording. i think that can give the record a more personal feel. but then again i didnt buy your record. so.. but ya, i still like it. good work man. the guitar bits were cool. hope you are doing well my friend. take care.
