"Sean Kershaw slinks his strings and vocal chords in such a way that "ladies" in New York clubs go crazy!" - Metromix NY
This band has gone through so many changes recently (all positive) that it's hard to know where to start...we recorded a new CD ("Coney Island Cowboy" on City Salvage Records) which will be out around March...no longer playing every Sunday at Hank's Saloon (every 3rd Sunday though)...got a world-class buncha musicians (and great guys too) in the lineup...and tons of great press from the Voice to the NY Times. Right now we're working on getting the CD out and planning a tour, as well as redoing seankershaw.com and generally dragging our act kicking & screaming into the 21st century (while maintaining our old school honkytonk attitude). So look for more big things to come in the near future, and maybe we'll even write a real bio. Meantime check the blog!
Country in NYC is alive & well due to The New Jack Ramblers---good to see you tonight Sean--Demo sounds great---safe trip down south & talk soon...Kurt H.
