HI,
well most musicians have bios an stuff to brief you about their music an im sori cause i dont, but wat i can tell u is a bit about my life an my passion-music- i picked up a guitar when i was 10. i liked it heaps but never got serious about it till my life began taking turns... when i was 14 i was kicked out of home, an i lived in a refuge in croydon for a couple of years, an i believe thats when i got closer to my guitar. so many times i'd be alone in the house an bored, an the only thing i felt i could express myself thru, was writng music..i have never had any lessons vocally or even guitar lessons, i just played cause ill love the feeling of expression. for years i never sang infront of anyone, i kept it to myself. it took me till i was about 20 before i performed my first song infront of an audience at an open mic nite on the gold coast! that feeling just before your first word comes out still gives me tingles. after that nite i was hooked.
you see i believe music for me has saved my life, its been there for me as a friend, something that is always there when i needed to escape. u might look at my page an think is he serious, heaps of pics of his mates!? is he serious? well i believe your mates are like music too, they take you away from the harsh things that life throws at you.. their there for you an listen to you. jus like music has for me! i appreciate everyone that i have met in my life.
i have been playing guitar for about 12 years now an recently just recorded my stuff, alot of people ask me what type of music i play, but, to be honest, i couldnt break it down into just one genre for you..
my style is simple, i write from my heart, if i feel it, i write it! nothin should be held in...bottled up.. because it will just hurt more when it comes out eventually...everyone’s had a journey or story to tell, this is how i express it.
i hope you can relate to my music an enjoy my tunes, im workin on my e.p soon so keep a look out! i would love to see you at my shows, come down an have a beer an a chat with me an share with me ur story!
