Sean Patrick Doyle originally hails from Miami, FL and is currently splitting time between New York and Miami. He recently returned from a year-long run as Baby John in the Asian/European tour of West Side Story (dir. Joey McKneely). Prior to West Side Story, Sean appeared in the 2005 Korean tour of Fame: the Musical. In the U.S., his theatrical credits include the Emcee in Cabaret, Mr. Mistoffelees in Cats, Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof and the title role in Kurt Weill’s Johnny Johnson. At the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC., Sean has been featured as a dancer in A Salute to the 1940s Broadway Musical (dir. Baayork Lee) and Washington National Opera's mounting of Tchaikovsky's The Maid of Orleans. Sean also appeared in the televised program, The Kennedy Center Honors, saluting West Side Story's original Anita, Chita Rivera, in a tribute choreographed by Academy Award-winner Rob Marshall. He holds a Bachelors of Music from Catholic University in Washington, DC. He is also a published playwright and travel photographer, and proud member of Actors' Equity!
Sean Patrick is currently making his mark on the cabaret scene with his unorthodox tributes to the leading ladies of the Great White Way. Utilizing both a lyric baritone and a trained countertenor, Sean Patrick glides seemlessly through vocal impersonations of Judy Garland, Nell Carter, Carol Channing, Ethel Merman, Julie Andrews, Idina Menzel, Audra McDonald, among others. His frighteningly accurate impersonations are being compiled into a one-man cabaret tentatively titled "Here's to the Ladies... in my laryx." Sean Patrick would eventually like to dedicate an entire show to impersonating four-time Tony winner, Audra McDonald (download a promotional track for this show above).
