Thanks for checking out my site. I'm 21 years old born and raised in Connecticut destined to be a Vermonter. I've been playing the drums for 10 years. I didn't come from a musical family but, my uncle was the one to get me into playing music. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be a drummer. During junior-high and high-school, I got my first professional experience playing in pit bands in school musicals and studied at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford for steel drumming. While attending the prep school Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut, I was a member of the elite jazz band for all four years, which gave me confidence to push music and drumming into a more serious direction. I also got my start gigging going to the annual Black Eyed Sally's open blues jam.
After high-school, I enrolled at University of Vermont. In the fall of 2006, I enrolled as a music performance major, studied vigorously with Jeff Salisbury and began to gig consistently with Rolla, Miracle Train and Conscious Roots.
During 2007, I toured with Miracle Train opening for Strangefolk where I met Russ Lawton. He had me sub some gigs for him Atlantic City where I met Keith Lewis & The Shift. I traveled to Michigan with them that summer on a road-trip across Canada and had a BLAST doing the gig.
This year, I've taken time off from school to pursue music. I started drumming at Honky Tonk Tuesday in April and have played there numerous times throughout the year along with some of Vermont's finest musicians. I leave the Radio Bean with a warmer soul every time. Also, I've gigged with Gordon Stone throughout the summer and continue to play with Keith Lewis in Atlantic City and Michigan.
Thanks to everyone that I've played with and who have come to watch me do what I love the most.
I'm available for lessons, gigs and sessions. Please contact me for furthur info.
