I have been playing and writing music in this style for the past 7 years or so. My first release, "This Time" can be ordered through www.interpunk.com. My songs are all pretty mellow and heart-felt...without being emo. ALL OF MY SONGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD AT www.seanprogan.com.
I've learned how to record my own music with Pro Tools and have a completely portable studio, which is essential to me because I'm always on the road with my band, Big D and the Kids Table. My solo material is nothing like Big D, so it's a good outlet to get other thoughts and emotions out.
I'm not sure how to label these types of songs; singer-songwriter, solo acoustic, I really am not sure what to call it. Check out the mp3's and decide for yourself how to classify it. It's good music to fall asleep or make out to.

Heyyy thanks for the add. I saw Big D over a year ago at the Metro in Chicago, and I have one of your guitar picks (I had my dad put a hole in it so it's a necklace now lol.) Anyway, to get to the point. I absolutely love Big D and the Kids Table and I love your solo stuff as well, and I think you should find a way to play your solo stuff somewhere at Warped Tour. Oh, and I fully intend to try to find a way to meet you guys there, so you should try and not make it hard to do so. =)
