Rapper/Producer Sean Rex’s influences include: The Beastie Boys, Alkoholiks, Outkast, N*E*R*D, Jay-Z, & Redman. With that said he has created a sound truly distinctive and all his own.
Sean Rex began experimenting with keyboards and drum machines as well penning rhymes in high school. His lyrical, and at times comical delivery, is often filled with party themed rhymes drawing from his experiences in college (Cal State Northridge) as well as highly descriptive tales of growing up in “The Burbs” of Sacramento, California.
He has brought his energetic live show to some of Southern California’s most well known music venues (Whiskey-A-GoGo, Knitting Factory, Crash Mansion and more).
Sean Rex Produced the majority of the songs on his new “Rad Like Me” EP as well as his debut album “REXXXTRAVAGANZA” and plans on releasing more projects in the near future.
