SeanRyan began his career at age eleven as a drummer for the family band "Sunset Jazz", which has been noticed by newspapers such as the Fresno Bee, Visalia Times, Monterey Herald, Monterey Weekly, magazines such as Smooth Jazz Magazine, as well as television spots and regular air time in the San Francisco and Chicago areas. His abilities as a drummer were often praised because of his "Un-Natural sense of rhythm that compares to a drum machine"- Fresno Bee After seven years working professionally with "Sunset Jazz", SeanRyan left to pursue other artistic areas. However, he eventually found himself infatuated with music once again. Using his abilities as a drummer to come out in his guitar playing, he went from no experience with the guitar to playing live at multiple venues in a year’s time. This can be attributed to his hard work as a self teacher and dedication of a professional. SeanRyan’s melodic sounds are inspired by his influences of the 70's - 90's. This includes such artists as Eric Clapton, Toad the WetSprocket, Gin Blossoms and Richard Marx. The mix of his set lists delivers a wide range of music that will appeal to any age group
