About me:

Hi. I don't like social networking Websites, but they're the only way I have of keeping in touch with some people, so I guess I'm stuck making a MySpace.

First of all, I blog at seanshannon.org, not here, and you can learn a lot about me over there. The banner ads on there help me pay the bills, too, so please check it out.

I'm a pansexual, male-to-female pre-operative transsexual. I'm also celibate, so don't bother asking me for sex. Likewise, although I'm active in the BDSM community, I won't be your play partner either. See over on the left-hand column where it says I'm just here for friends and networking? If you're looking for cheap thrills, you won't find them here, so please, click your back button now. Also, I don't play MySpace games, so please don't send me invitations to them.

Anyway, I'm an artist who works in everything from music to fiction to poetry to photography. (Visit my Website for samples of my work.) In my professional life I teach English part-time at Monroe County Community College and do a bit of freelance writing, and will be going back to college to get my MFA in Creative Writing soon. I'm a very political person, and a proud member of the Green Party.

I am a very strange person; I tend to be very silent and withdrawn when you first meet me, but if you take the time to get over my quirks and get to know me, you'll find that I'm one of the most dedicated friends you'll ever meet. I keep a very small circle of friends at any one point of my life, but I am fiercely loyal to those friends.
