When I'm not working, I'm apt to be found writing poetry, checking out a new poetry and/or music venue, working out, digging in my garden, kayaking, playing with my pups or wandering a local beach.
About me: When I figure this out I'll let you know. In the meantime, I'm a combination of a flaming idealist and a reluctant realist in search of balance between the two.
Who I'd like to meet: Others interested in poetry, music and the arts. I've included a few links to some of my favorite poets, musicians and venues.
I hope you'll take a moment to check out their art.
Annie Wenz Musician, singer, songwriter, poet and Harley rider extraordinaire! Songwriting just doesn't get any sweeter!
Carlyn Hutchins Another fabulous folkie with smooth vocals, gutsy guitar playing and lyrics with attitude and heart!
Driftwood Folk Cafe This acoustic music series will make its debut on September 13, 2008, so please mark your calendars and join us as we kick off the premier season. Driftwood's goal is to create a venue that will encourage and support acoustic music and its appreciation in an intimate coffeehouse-style listening atmosphere. Check in often to keep an eye on the ever-evolving performance calendar - there are some great shows in the works!
Bryan Croad Without a doubt, this guy's got some amazing guitar chops and he's an all around great person as well!
