About me:
ALRIGHT KIDS, READ THIS CAREFULLY FIRST: The people I have friended on here are people who I've either met in person, or who I've gotten to know elsewhere online. I'm not here for popularity contest, and won't be auto-adding friend requests. In fact, in most cases, if I don't recognize you from your profile, or someone in your friends, chances are you'll be summarily ignored.
If you want to get to know me, go check out my blog on LiveJournal, and peruse my user info there. If you pique my interest, and I add you there, chances are fairly good I'll probably add you here. For that matter, if I've not met you or interacted with you online elsewhere, drop me an email before sending the friend request and tell me why you'd like to add me-- that conversation alone will go a long ways toward considering adding you. I'll probably re-word this a bit later. That being said, here's the profile basics.
Professional freelance illustrator and graphic designer, sometime DJ, occasional celeb/media bodyguard, and roundabout internet addict.
My time is randomly dispersed between artwork, cooking, reading, listening to music, playing RPGs and computer games, attending/working conventions, randomly surfing the 'net, playing tech support for various friends & family, watching a variety of TV shows, continuously educating myself in things that fascinate me, and spending time hanging out with friends. I suppose to some degree that would make me a "Renaissance Man"-- my situation is a unique one, and I've had many an interesting turn over the years between the choices I've made and the people I've met and come to know.
I'm 32, single, have no kids, and have never been married. I consider my pets to be my children. My social base of friends and chosen family is a large one, and I would consider myself to be lucky in that respect compared to many.
I think I've babbled enough for my initial bio post, I'll refine things a bit later.
