The Story
Well - it's more than a bio - it's life! I don't know how to do anything but sing and make music! I have been doing it since I was singing at camp, to my tent mates. I am sure they thought I was nuts and maybe I am. I think you need to be nuts to pursue a career in the arts in America. You have to be driven, or you give up. I feel alive when I am on stage, playing my own music, or playing other people's stuff too! I am lucky to play 200 or more gigs a year, and I have had music in film and on TV.
I have played all over the US and have made friends all over the US - all sorts of people - and I must thank fans and reviewers who make it all worthwhile! YOU make me smile! THANKS!
Yep I was Born in New York, I live in LA, and tour everywhere in between..... Now for the formal bio ---
Sean Wiggins has honed her skills as a rock/country goddess with a blues edge.
With over 100 songs in her catalog, this award winning performer and writer has had tunes on TV, in films and on the radio both nationally and internationally. Live, her dynamic stage presence, humorous banter, powerful vocals and insightful lyrics, are completely captivating. Sean was first place winner of The Billboard Song Contest for R&B/Blues in addition to many more awards and special mentions.
Sean has been touring the US in support of her last five releases, playing clubs, festivals and colleges in Nashville, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Boston and numerous other cities throughout the US. CBGB's in NYC to The Bluebird in Nashville to the Troubador in LA.
She also regularly graces the stages of California from San Diego to San Francisco. The band is now called Sean Wiggins & Lone Goat! They just opened for Blues Traveler at The Arlington in Santa Barbara for over 1000 sailors off The USS Ronald Reagan! Jan 2008!
Sean performed in the LA theater production, "Sordid Lives", as Bitsy Mae. The play, soon to be a TV series on the LOGO channel, traveled to Palm Springs, San Diego and Dallas, in addition to its LA run.
Also, Sean was featured in Curve Magazine July/Aug 2006 & you can find her music in Gillery's Little Secret, an award winning short film.

we think we are lucky to live these lives we lead. to be a part of the cultural, political and scientific conversation of our time, while able to work one's way through life basically supporting oneself through their art. amazing! frustrating sometimes? yes. unfair sometimes...what isn't? know we are blessed. that is why it is imperative that we speak up. it is our responsibility for being so blessed.
It's so cool to have reconnected again! Your schedule is truly amazing, wow! I hope to catch one of your shows next time I'm in California... And hey, why don't you throw your boots on and come play n' mingle here in Nashville soon?!
