Music
Paul Kossoff of Free had a major influence in my own playing. Anyone not knowing much about Free or paul Kossoff, check out 'Be my friend' and 'I'll be creeping' below.
I didn't stop there tho', i've continued to be influenced and impressed by talented musicians. Jeff Buckley is another major influence along with the diversity of bands like Muse.
The present 'Love' for 'Live' bands rather than music industry 'Clones' is great and long overdue - Long may it continue!

About me:
I've been performing live in bands for around 15 years (mainly covers). I started (as a lot of guitarists do), playing mainly 'classic/heavy' rock. In my current Band 'WKD', we play some 'old classics' but have a more up to date set. I'm hoping to upload some recordings soon, (with some original material too).

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interested in music (playin or listening). I'd also like to form a network of musicians/bands to look out for one another and swap advice, experiences, etc....
Hey up mate. Looks like it"s coming together! We had a practice session up Venombase last Friday & it was good. Me mate Matt (youv"e met him) is doin fine on slap-bass, & we"ve got Tony from my old band Rocket88 on drums. Doin a kinda Rockabilly/punk/ska thing, buzzin tunes. I"m currently experimenting with making a fibreglass guitar (shock-horror), honest! Try to pop down in a couple of weeks & see how it"s goin. Hope to see ya band soon, but as you know, we live in poverty so we"ll have to neglect the kids for a while so that we can afford BEER! Regards, Deck n Her.
