About me: Jodie and Pete formed Search Party to create original performance work that explores the possibilities of the live event. Search Party are Exeter Phoenix supported artists and developed The Long Walk to the Performance, through their scratch program. Search party make charming and optimistic work that questions assumptions of how an audience can be addressed. We create environments, situations and activities, which invite the audience to become a part of the experience.
Search Party's current work is centered around our ongoing research into sport and performance. The research has involved a series of activities and performances defined by time structures, exploring the relationship between athlete and supporter. This period of research has resulted in a new studio performance, Keep Going The Rhino! The performance draws on re-occurring threads from the previous activities including hope, investment, fatigue, live commentary, 'tragedy', the underdog, team identification and missed opportunity.

Who I'd like to meet: The 1st man on the moon - Neil Armstrong, 2nd man on the moon - Buzz Aldrin, 3rd man on the moon - Tom Hanks, Elvis Presley, Optimists, Moon enthusiasts, Trevor (tragic), Eddie the Eagle Edwards (who captured our hearts and made us believe), the Whale who swam up the Thames and died a hero, Goldfish lovers and pessimists who are willing to change.
This is your first chance to catch our new show - come along!
The Carriageworks, Leeds, Thursday 5 & Friday 6 June, 8PM
Chloe has tracked down long-lost brother Richard. only trouble is, Richard has no idea who she is. He was washed up on a beach twenty years ago, with no memory of where he came from.
Together they must face family ghosts, a set of faded newspaper clippings and an ill-fated visit to the seaside.
Part mesmirising thriller, part tender reflection on the meaning of home, this is a new play about what happens when everything you know turns out to be wrong.
Hello, Hope you are well. Probably see you in Manchester for Special Guests. But if your free on 1st and 2nd April and in London- you may be interested in seeing this......

Hello, hello! Just wanted to say, I really enjoyed the performance the other night! I'm arranging for a catalogue to be sent out to you - is it the Addington Court address?
Me and iara just wanted to say how much we loved you at SPRINT on Sunday. A charming, daring show pulled off with wit and elegance - I'm a die hard pessimist, and even I fell head over heels for it.
Let us know what you're up to in the future, we hope to see you again sometime soon.
Best Wishes Sammy Sleepwalk Collective

1st July and I have already bought the ticket and put a reminder in my phone about it!
I haven't received a letter though...
If it's asking for money, I am rich in talent and prospects, but sadly not in money now - seeing as I forked out £12 to see you on a Sunday!
