Kerry Cox is a Seattle poet who spent 7 years in New Orleans writing and performing poetry. Her poems have been accepted for publication in Journeys and INK, online whispers & [Shouts] and and received Honorable Mention in Anthology magazine's annual poetry contest. Kerry has self-published two of her own works: Rainbow Karma and A Month of Sundays. A new member of the Washington Poet's Association, Ms. Cox is working on her latest book of poetry, Imagined Histories. Earlier this year, Kerry traveled to Australia where she spent time in a studio with local musicians recording a CD of spoken word tracks to be included with the new book. Kerry is currently pursuing a career as a Poetry Therapist. In addition to her workshop Poetry as Medicine earlier this year, she is now offering Letters from Venus, a poetry workshop/open mic for women .
