"The singer of this band has an unpronounceable name, and no one knows from what corner of the earth she was sent to us. That's a good foundation for her efforts to venture into those chasms in which the Delphic voices of Jarboe, Siouxie and Nico still linger. She and her accomplices, who paint themselves symbolically and don mushroom sweaters, accomplish this so deftly that one gets the feeling from this EP, which runs barely a half-hour, that one has just completed a three-day exorcism and will from now until all eternity inhabit a Kubrick-Film".
THE VILLAGE VOICE
"When I first saw Seasick play, I was hypnotized. It was such an explosive and intense experience that the few times I managed to break the spell, I noticed everyone else in the audience...was equally haunted."
JUST PRESS PLAY
"Golestaneh treats the vocals with equal parts Jim Morrison, Patti Smith and Corin Tucker.
Those pipes are among the most appealing, sensual and haunting to appear on the scene in some years...it's nothing short of revelatory".
DEAF SPARROW
"Downright impressive...what great music is made of. Have the straitjackets handy, because if the world is a fair place this Brooklyn trio is about to get some recognition...I vote for "XX" as single of the year..."
