| General | anything dealing with kids and nutrition: especially school lunch reform, politics in Africa (actually politics anywhere and everywhere), sustainable agriculture, local food, traveling all over the globe, good music, good food, good friends, photography, painting with watercolor, playing with clay, making short documentaries, NYC history, road tripping all over the continent, camping...I really miss camping (nyc doesn't lend itself to camping... at least not legally), oh! and skiing...I miss that too, I love going to live shows... music, theater and comedy (nyc makes up for the lack of camping & skiing with the live entertainment)! | | Music | too much to list....here's a start: Tori Amos, Bjork, Manu Chao, Patty Griffin, Celia Shacklett, Sandra McCracken, Don Chaffer, Lori Chaffer, Christena Graves, Over the Rhine, I like to rock out to Madonna sometimes, Bob Dylan, B.Fleischmann, Johnny Cash, anything 80's, any original cast recordings from Broadway shows...for example: Rent, Wicked, Phantom, etc. My true love = true musicians, composers and singer/songwriters: people who are actually talented. | | Movies | hmmm....very into documentaries actually. | | Television | sitcoms mostly...due to a short attention span. Seinfeld, Will & Grace, That 70's Show...damn...none of those are on anymore. I do catch Grey's Anatomy..love that show. Oh...and I can't leave out Real Time with Bill Maher. | | Books | dear lord...where to start? sadly mostly non-ficton...
