About Season of Nightmares (RIP Toby Lykken 1997-2009)

Season of Nightmares is a dangerously original musical trio based out of Seattle, WA. These three terrible fellas joined up in 2003 to stew a back-alley brew of rock 'n' roll to get weird to. Dipping equally into punk, garage, jazz and 50s rock 'n' roll, their songs thump with pulpy undertones of crime lore and the paranormal. They'll rock your brains into jelly and swing your bones into dust without leaving a fingerprint. Can ya dig it?

I have shows on Fri & Sat & was planning on seeing you guys at The Funhouse this coming Sunday but something last minute, crazy & cool has come up. I was invited to take part in Jayke Orvis's(Goddamn Gallows/former .357 String Band) solo album. So I'll be flying out to WA DC Sunday to meet up with The Gallows & My Brother Darren then heading to Richmond, VA where we'll be recording the album at JB Beverley's Rebel Roots Recording Studio. The album is going to come out on 5 Knuckle Shuffle Records & I'm super stoked about it 'cuz it's gonna' rule but.... I am on the other hand however super bummed because I won't get to see you guys play. I am constantly flipping you guys shit that you don't play enough & how rad you are & how the world & a dilapitated/a-typical psychobilly scene needs you and then.... I don't come out to a single show on your tour :-( Yeah, I suck but I love you guys & hope you'll forgive me. Also, please tell Seanzi & Bobcat that I'm sorry I couldn't make it as well. I saw Bobcat in NY when I was playing with Wayne "The Train" in May of this year & feel lame that I won't be there showing my support when they come to WA. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing The Arkhams again too. Sorry for the online novel but this is what I do at the odd hours of the morning when everyone else is sleeping. Have fun on your tour & please do it again soon so I can tour with you just like old times ;-) James
