I'll toss more shit on here later.
But, here's the jist of it. My name's Jimbo, and I have nothing to do with the band, other than being a fan.
about 9 years ago or so, I was 14, and browsing a record store in Ft. Collins, CO. Can't remember the name. Was actually looking for some GG Allin stuff, but all they had was an expensive-ass import CD. Not gonna do that.
So, I grab a couple random CDs, and the dude asked if he could help me. I asked him if there was anything he could suggest to me, and he said "Yeah, lemme put something on forya." he tossed on an album, then my ride said we had to go, so I just said "Gimme it."
I'll tellya, I felt ripped off for a little bit. I'd been sold Season to Risk's "In a Perfect World". And it was...eh...I dunno. Couldn't get into it at the time.
So, I tossed it into my music collection, went on with life.
A couple years later, I listen to it again...and, it grabs me more. I look around for some more stuff from 'em, and have trouble finding anything. Eventually I get ahold of "Men are Monkeys, Robots Win".
Two completely different albums. I loved it. Then, I got the self-titled, and I was hooked.
And there's the story of "The Man That Found Season To Risk". Now if only the band could say anything.
...UPDATE. ...apparently, they already had a myspace, under "S2R". Heh, well then.
