We are excited to release our first album titled "Lily Sky". "Lily Sky" can be purchased at our live performances. Many thanks to Range Recording Studios for the kindness and amazing recording! And many thanks to Jon Eckel for the amazing cover art.
The Sea Trio are a 3-piece electronic/ clarinet band from
Philadelphia, PA. The band formed onstage in Fall 2006 and has since
played regularly in Philly and New York, often with guest horn players
from the Sun Ra Arkestra. They have opened twice for
Black Moth Super Rainbow, and played at the 2008 Kimmel Center for Performing Arts Summer Solstice Festival on the late night stage.
Ephraim Asili (electronic beats), Andy Schwartz
(keys) formed the band with a shared taste for early-70s electric
Miles Davis albums & meditative jazz(Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane etc.) The music now combines a sound with elements of ambient electronic, and free jazz with an emphasis on the music being raw and live, with every show being almost completely improvised. In one set the music can go from minimalist electronic beats to intense washes of rhythm and sound. The SEA Trio now also includes Jennie Portney on effects processed clarinet!!

Track info :
"Foam (Part 2) is an extension from a track on our album "Lily Sky" called Foam. We decided to cut it into 2 tracks and have the second half for you to listen to on myspace. Enjoy!
"When Jennie Walked In"is a cut from a jam before either Stuart or Jennie were in the band. Andy and Ephraim were playing and Jennie walked in. Have fun!

I'll be playing the fire tonight at 10 with a few friends. A great female vocalist (chrissie loftus) for yummy harmonies, a dobro/pedal steel guitar player (Andy Keenan) and another fella singing the third harmonies and playing some tasty acoustic guitar. I'll be playing mostly guitar and singin' my tunes.
