Heroes
Someone once sang that "We don't need another hero," but I totally disagree. Oh, wait. That would be my personal hero, Tina Turner, who I've had the pleasure of meeting!
Here are some of my other heros, living and dead.
Nelson Mandella, Charles and Ray Eames, Jim Henson, Aaron Spelling, Gore Vidal, Jane Fonda, Al Gore, Steve Jobs
About me: I live in Seattle right now. I really like it, but who knows where I'll be in a few years. I'd love to live or work in the UK or Europe. I've been a brand strategist, copywriter, and marketing guy, but lately I'm doing corporate communications work at a large company, which is cool. I love pop culture, keeping tabs on trends and in fashion, design and technology. I think that musicians and artists are really the coolest people out there and want to write a book or contribute something creative to the world that I will be remembered by. I love the idea of MySpace being this expanding nexus of cool friends I already know and interact with, but also interesting new folks. Please say hello!
I keep a blog that I update regularly and I'd love for you to check it out. Visit my blog here.
Who I'd like to meet: Cool, interesting people from around the world. Does that sound silly? People who are in my profession would be interesting to know too. Or just people who like the same kind of stuff that I'm into. I'm interested in meeting people with different ethnic or cultural backgrounds, those involved in music or the arts, or writers. I would love to meet and interact with some of my favorite performers that have pages on MySpace. Basically, I'd like to meet anyone who can entertain me for a moment or enrich my life in any way.
