I'm interested in art and popular culture. I love Japan and everything Japanese. I also love Indian culture & Bollywood films. My current interests include the Fatwa of the Week on Fatwa Islam. I like Tiki culture, lowbrow art, Kustom Kulture, and am fond of cheesecake, vintage clothing and most any kind of kitsch and/or anything in bad taste. I am very much enjoying the pop surrealism movement at this time, and count Juxtapoz as my favorite magazine. Elvis makes me laugh.
I like to read and enjoy non-fiction, politics, cultural anthropology and current events. My favorite fiction authors are Tom Robbins, Rohinton Mistry and Harlen Ellison but I just joined a neighborhood book club, so my "favorite authors" are subject to change.
I also like computers and the internet and I have several websites that I've made.

I used to have a radio program on KRAB-FM called "Surfin' Those Cosmic Waves" and I was the Hostess with the Mostess "Cosmic Cindy" (which is my middle name) and I played music by the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, The Surfari's, Dick Dale & the Deltones, Frankie and Annette...... I still listen to that music once in awhile. "Pet Sounds" remains my favorite album.
I also have this "thing" for Prince. I have seen Prince every time he's toured and visited Seattle. We're members of the NPG (New Power Generation), so we got to go to the sound checks and sit in the first row at concerts.
Ok. I'll confess. I like to dress up like Prince when I've had too much to drink.
Please don't tell anyone!
And when I get really, really drunk, I like to dress up like Priscilla.
