    I have a variety of interests. Reading - it has to be psychological thrillers, suspense/paranormal, some fantasy and down right hardboiled detective stories. Sometimes a good cozy mystery will work as well. Cooking is another passion of mine and I am pretty good at cooking up a dish from scratch. One of my other all time favorite interests is to go to a local antique shop and browse around.

    Also, I believe I lived at a time when Swinging was the latest dance craze and that the dance halls were jammed pack full of swinging good times: SWING KIDS

    I would love nothing more than to get back into hiking, camping and fishing. The fresh scent of the mountain air, the crisp clean mountain lake. A crackling fire and the sound of a river or creek.

    And, how can anyone forget M*A*S*H. I think this was (and still is) one of the best shows ever produced for Television. Yes, I have seen the Movie (where the original score for the intro Suicide is Painless is from) and it was just as good. MASH 4077 alternet intro

Out lerched a drunkard, stumbling and tripping over his own feet as he staggers down the sidewalk. I just shake my head, and step into the bar. The scent of cheap perfume, cologne, cigar and cigarette heavily hung in the air. I tip the brim of the fedora as the waitress smiled my way. She is one well put together dame. Taking up my usual residence at the counter, a cup of coffee was already placed there. I toss a deck of coffin nails onto the counter and remove the hat, placing it to the side. A couple down and out gents who have seen more than their share of the darker side of life huddle over their soup.

"Thank you," I smile before lighting up a cigarette. The coffee bitter and heavy tasting as I take a drink.

"How are ya?" She came around the counter and sat next to me and stole a smoke from the deck. Her thick curls cascaded over smooth tanned shoulders and her eyes stared into mine.

"Doing good," I lit her cigarette, the flame licking the tobacco. "How are you doing?"

"Doing good." She leaned into me, her slender fingers caressed my neck for a moment. Her breath warm against my neck as she whispered, "Hang out until I get off work will you?" She then kissed me softly. I could only smile and stare into those deep blue eyes of hers.

"I have no plans tonight," I watched her through the thick haze of smoke as she moved back around the counter. She smiled back.

"Good, because I am not tired at all." She picked up the carafe of coffee before filling thirsty cups. I just sat there, chuckling and shaking my head.

***********************************************************

Ever since my early days, I have always loved reading. One of the most treasured (and unfortunately lost) jewels of my childhood days was a large binder with reading rewards. Not only had I grown to become an avid reader (which I am lacking now in my later years and doing my best to pick back up on), I had developed a knack for writing. The earliest recollection of when I started discovering the joy of writing was the age before Email, Instant Messaging and such of our now digital age. I used to love writing letters to my grandparents, family. In fact, one of the things (a little known weird fact about this classic gentleman) was that while in high school, I had guys ask me to write "romantic letters" to their girlfriends. I found this rather entertaining because these were the guys and girls (yes, I was heavily picked on all through my school years as being a nerd, dork, dweeb, spaz, or whatever the name calling specifics were) would pick on me. The girls would read the letters I wrote to them at the bequest of their boyfriends. It was always Reading and writing reports that were easy for me to accomplish. Now, when it came to math or chemistry...good luck. History was another favorite subject of mine. Even though I had to pass freshman English in my senior year, I was always constantly writing something.

On a more personal note, my life never was a ray of sunshine. There were alot of challenges and obstacles (whether by my own demise and reasons of stupid insanity or of others personal choices that have affected my life in on faucet or another). When I thought the dust would settle, another explosive setback would present itself. Married and then divorced, poor choices and misdirections taken in my life. Burning bridges because I thought I knew more about what was going on than what others were saying to me. Honestly, I thought the world owed me. I walked in anger and bitterness for some time before someone came and slapped the blinders off me and woke me up. It took some years for some of the things to kick in and I am still changing some of my behavior and attitude toward life.

Also, I am a simple gentleman who has come to terms with his station in life and finally found that place where I have the stability, security and the happiness that I have always felt escaped me. Also, a hardworking gent, I have learned to enjoy the type of work I am doing, no matter how mundane it may seem. I can honestly say I have come along way.

I am also, an avid writer who has had some disappointment, but have not lost the dream. Seeking to get back to typing and creativity, I am looking forward to the life that I have now come to grasp. As an up and coming author, I am attempting to develop a new form of Hard boiled Detective mystery with Erotica as the backdrop. I enjoy all things sensual, intense, passionate, intimate and seductive while attempting to accomplish the goal of hooking the reader into the world of words where they transform into a very intense descriptive realm the reader can be lost in.

I do consider myself a gentleman in the classic sense, and have been called a devilish rogue with a golden tongue and silver pen.

    Be an Earthbound Angel

    Be a friend;
    True friendship is a priceless gift.
    Always listen with your heart;
    You must listen to a person before you can attempt to help them in any way, so always listen wholeheartedly.

    Reach out to those in need, even if you aren't quite sure what it is that they need from you.

    Realize that miracles are not mysterious or impossible to achieve.
    A miracle is the small thing you do that makes a big difference in someone else's life.

    Remind some one that life is precious and worth living, even though their world seems hopeless and dark.

    Know that feeling is the key to understanding. You must have some idea of how the other person feels before you can begin to understand them.

    Be honest in loving and caring about someone;
    sincere compassion is the best kind to give, and honesty is angelic.

    Don't expect to sprout wings;
    instead, be satisfied with the warm flutter of accomplishment.

    Listen to your intuition;
    It won't fail you in times of doubt.

    Most of all, encourage more people to do all of the above, through your own shining example.

    I had a dream ….
    I spread my wings and flew over the seas, and found Gustav. I found Him before He bludgeoned our shores. He honored me with song and we danced in unison under the moonlight till dawn …. Calming His wretched soul. He promised not to destroy God’s Town, He would spread only His breath and tears upon our land. I found trust in Him and His favor for me … After what seemed to be an eternity, we exchanged our farewells and I went my way. As He loomed onto shore and came upon my hiding …I could hear His breath so softly, “Thank you my love, my Sharona” ..
    When I awoke … I realized it wasn’t a dream after all …a kiss and the King’s light was restored to the world…..

    Love,
    Sharona
