About me: This is a myspace for Variety by the Sea. The family cabaret show was created in December 2006 by Slightly Fat Features.
It is a new variety show featuring some of the worlds best comedians, circus acts, musicians, dancers, singers and other weird and wonderful feats.
Full of top turns, young local talent and stunning surprises the show is currentley based at the lovely Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth. After a year they have produced 6 totally different sell out shows and are hoping to continue the trend and tour the show.
Slightly Fat Features is taking the show on a summer holiday...........
NEXT SHOWS: a festival special for the Exeter Festival on 21st June titled VARIETY ON THE EXE as part of the Exeter Summer Festival. 7.30pm at the BARNFIELD THEATRE EXETER
and as part of the Hatherleigh Festival in Dartmoor on 10th July.

Who I'd like to meet: October 12th was the third Variety by the Sea and was yet again a complete sell out. The Manor Pavilion Theatre became Spanish for the evening as it was Nationanl Spanish Day, the Incredibull Bull Circus made a guest appearance and the King popped in for the Finale!
7th and 8th of December 7.30pm was a complete sell out with an anti-panto feel as Gareth Jones stole the show as Peter Pan

February 23rd had a spring clean and was again totally sold out, with wire walkers, hula hoopists, opera singing amazing diabalo and of course a regular helping of brilliant live music from the orchestra pit and energetic action from all angles.
May 2nd and 3rd was different again with more than 13 artists performing! Sword swallowing, acrobatics, Russian dances, boogie woogie piano, hat manipulation and an appearnce from new london mayor Boris Johnson!
