Sebastian is a composer, guitarist and arranger. His newest instrumental project is "Sebastian Cruz and the Cheap Landscape ensemble." They play distorted cumbias, punk fandangos, dizzy bullerengues and more (myspace.com/thechaplandscapetrio). He also leads the band coba (myspace.com/cobamusic) which presents exclusively his original songwriting work. Sebastian is also a member of La cumbiamba eneyé, Samurindó, Tibaguí, is musical director for Lucía Pulido & Palenque, and on occasion writes music for plays and films.
Some venues in which Sebastian has performed include: BAM Café, The Knitting factory, Tonic (R.I.P), Galapagos Artspace, Rose, CultureFest at Battery Park, Summer Stage, Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Symphony Space, Queens Museum of Art, and others...
