"S.A. Bach is a rare talent indeed. I met him as part of the band Hail Citizen a while back and his solo album Long Distance Relationship just blew me away. If we can agree that an unusually large amount of Death Cab for Cutie songs are about failed long-term relationships, then one might note that S.A. Bach's work captures the sublime discomfort of relationships failing before getting an opportunity to blossom. His voice rings loud with genuine disappointment and charm, while seriously talented musicians set the Americana-meets-indie tone."

S.A. Bach paid over $400 and put countless innocent lives in jeopardy all for the sake of a good publicity photo:

I'm glad you like it :) and im just as much as a dorky fan of yours! haha your TMI cd you gave me sounds AWESOME, i havent heard alot of those songs and youre writing never ceases to amaze me. You are genius whether you believe it or not. and one day we will take over the world!!!!! Ps I dont know if i told you but thanks again for coming to the show, it means SO much to me to see you guys from citrus (cuz i know its a long ass drive) but really It meant to me then you know and im equally as proud to call you friend!
I listened to your whole playlist while doing my philosophy homework. worked out quite nice. ill have to catch one of your shows with Jill when i get back to LA
Hey Mr. Bach, good to hear from you! Glad for the add. If you are around, you should come to our show on Main Street Santa Monica this Tuesday night. Hasta llama.
haha, ok subtle point taken. Only places out here i know of that are cool requires demos, or selling tickets...i cant think of any coffee gigs around here that are more relaxed...other than that its open mic stuff so thats not really our show...and it may suck because it is an OPEN mic.
If you have groovy gig locs out in your town, i would like to come out there. I am free all nights except Sundays, All afternoons except wednesdays...yes my life is hiding somewhere i have yet to find it.
no problem, man. the next one we have is on friday, october 2nd, starting at 7pm. i got your CD today in the mail. i'm digding the whole album, especially. "The Gag"
You know how to record stuff?! Thats so cool! I had so much trouble making the album because the microphone stand kept falling over, and then strings would break on my guitar and the vocals go in and out..blah blah.. recording is a frustrating process sometimes. Andrew is pretty good at what he does though. lol. You both have gotta show me how to do it properly. :0
Really?! I never play those anymore! I'm totally playing them at my next show! haha. Yea, I feel like my sound has definitely changed over the past year though. But its good to know you like the old stuff. What I really want to do is get Path of Lovers played in a chick flick, because its totally one of those songs that a movie would play. I actually wrote it for a boy that I really liked....one time...and played it for him...and then he was totally into me, and then I was happy, and then 2 weeks later I was sad, because he was kind of a jerk. So then the song didn't mean anything anymore, and so I didn't play it. But whatever. It totally gave me seductive power. hahaha. I will seduce my audience with it. haahhaaha.
No I haven't heard them before, but I like their sound. I totally dig the chick on guitar! lol
Hope to see you soon!
Btw:
I'm obsessed with No Unified Self. It just has so much feeling in it. And plus I love the existential aspect...don't know if your going for that, but its something I often think about.
hey great to meet you last night - sorry i jetted jet? wait. can you said that.....
one second. ok yes - you can use it that way.. um for some reason it looked funny.
whoaaaaa anyways.
