I come from Lausanne, a small town in Switzerland, not far from Geneva and the Lake Leman. I had the fortune to have a mother who motivated me to make music from early childhood. From the age of nine on, I began classical guitar lessons. I' m 39 now, so it is obvious, I have had a little time to experiment! As soon as I had a guitar in my hands, I never ceased composing my own pieces. It is vital for me. I had the chance when I was young to make choruses for a group that did individual "Pop Music" in Montain Studio, the studio of Queen in Switzerland. It is what undoubtedly started my passion for music. I was 14 years old when I played the guitar and sang in metal bands and Hard FM. Around the age of 16 , first concerts and recordings. I liked to record very much, it became my second passion. Then, in the Nineties, some CDs and mini-tours in Switzerland with several bands. After that, I decided to study again. For two years I used to teach guitar, and it was cool. During that time, I continuously played with other bands. I learned how to play drums, bass, piano and keyboards and even saxophone. I have always been a huge fan of Yngwie J. Malmsteen. I worked much in this style (neo-classical-shred) alone or with other passionate musicians. I never ceased composing my own pieces in all genres; from classic to metal, even funk and jazz. I constantly followed the evolution of the material concerning the guitar and the home studio. Then, I found a new passion: the home studio and computer. I started to build a small studio with Cubase. That was a revelation. Anything more would be impossible! At the same time, my private life was enriched by marriage and the birth of two children. My work in teaching took up an enormous amount of time. I play guitar in a choir too. All this slowed down my activities on the level of the music. For 3 yeas now I have started again to compose a great deal and placed the songs on various sites on the Web like icompositions.com. I collaborated with other musicians: Amber, a vocalist from the U.S., who's got a immense talent for writing. We created an album together. The album is available since the beginning of this year: Broken September was born! A gothic-neoclassical-metal-celtic band.
At this moment, I compose my own songs while collaborating with Duska Julius for the lyrics.
One of my projects is to do a 100% guitar classical album. I work hard on it!
