Influences All of Life ..
Sounds Like..The Guitar by Federico Garcia Lorca..

The weeping
of the guitar begins
Wineglasses shatter
in the dead of night
the Weeping
of the guitar begins
It's useless
to hush it
It's impossible
to hush it
It weeps on monotonously
the way water weeps
the way wind weeps
over the snowdrifts
It's impossible
to hush it
it weeps for things
far,far away
For the sands of the hot South
that begs for the white camelias
weeps for arrows without targets
an afternoon without a morning
and for the first dead bird
upon the branch
oh,guitar!
heart gravely wounded
by five swords......

"A talent of high degree" says Phillip Adams about Sebastian Jorgensen on  ABC Radio National.

Sebastian is a former student of such guitar luminaries as Len Williams, Sadie Bishop, Jose Luis Gonzalez (Australia), Ida Presti, Alexander Lagoya (France), Ahrio Diaz (Italy), and John Williams (London). Winner of the coveted Castel Maria de Stabia Guitar Competition (Italy), Sebastian has played at Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall alongside guitarists Paco Pena, Bert Jansch, Tim Walker and Jimi Hendrix.

A respected performer and teacher of the guitar, since his return to Australia (1972), after over a decade of performing and studying in Europe, he has devoted himself to music and especially to the study of the much neglected music of the Australian Aborigines, music which he regards as a vitally important and intrinsic part of Australia's culture. Sebastian has recorded with notable groups Yothu Yindi, the David Gulpilil Group and his recent project Waak Waak Jungi.

SEBASTIAN HAS CDS FOR SALE....."TRIBUTE" This is an album of music dedicated to the music of Aboriginal Australia'. Larry Swartz of the Ages Green Guide says"his album "Tribute" to the music of Aboriginal Australia is fabulous"

"RETROSPECTIVE" This is a more traditonal Classical guitar album exploring and interpreting the Western Classical Repetoire in Sebastians inimitable way.

"WAAK WAAK JUNGI"(CROW FIRE MUSIC) this is a wonderful collaboration between Sebastian ,Peter Mummay, Sally Grice and others together with senior Ramingining Traditional songmen including the great Bobby Bunungurr and Jimmy Djamunba

Phillip Houghton Celebrated Australian Guitar Composer says"thanks Seb for being the greatest teacher I ever had. Back then the classical guitar was like a myterious dream for me . Each dream rolled in on a wave....and I did my best to write down what I was hearing. you helped me find" the path with heart"....and Ive always loved what Blaise Pascal wrote in 1670..."The heart has its reasons which reason cannot know"

Ahh this sweet battered guitar of mine! What a difficult mistress she is! Everyday it's three thingsI must do.
I must Practice, Practice and Practice!
