„I..m a passionate musicfan and my profession is being a DJ, producer and label owner. Could there be anything better!?“ - These are the words of the Berlin-based artist Sebrok.
In 2004 he founded his own label PASO Music with Marc Miroir and Joachim Spieth.
Sebrok..s 2005 cooperation with emerging producer Dave Shokh titled “Some Kind of Monster” quickly became a club hit and made it onto the playlists of DJ legends such as Laurent Garnier, DJ Hell and Sven Väth.
PASO Music now proudly represents artists such as Tony Rohr, Dietrich Schönemann, Martin Eyerer, Silversurfer, Matt French, Justin Berkovi, Joachim Spieth, and Marc Miroir as well as the new Kompakt label discovery, Maxime Dangles and the German Wunderkind Gregor Tresher.
By the end of 2005, Sebrok was taken on as an editor with MTV Networks, and saw the music industry from a totally different perspective. Despite a further job offer after three years, he felt it was about time to leave the corporate realm to go back to making music himself.
Another collaboration with partner in crime, Dave Shokh began in 2008 and resulted in their unique mark heavily imprinted on three tight and groovy tracks titled „Pyrolator“, „Boob Tube“ and „Almost Famous“. The EP got hype from all over and the tracks found their way into DJ sets of big players like Speedy J., Miss Kittin & SLAM.
At the same time US-Superstar Dubfire, who had an eye on Seb finally requested some tracks for his own imprint SCI+TEC. The result is Sebrok..s 4 tracker „The X“, „Concorde“, „Falcon“ and „Airspeed“, being released in June 2009.
3 Tracks „Vision“, „Cheap&Awesome“ and „Home for Sale“ for Barcelona-based Davide Squillace’s Minisketch label will be released in August 2009.
