fishing, socializing, Art, Dancing, making friends, watching movies, reading, eating, sleeping, and drawing. I'm incredibly interested in the natural world, but I don't appreciate the insects that come with it.
Music
I can enjoy all types of music. The only thing I can't stand is Polka. It has to be good music though, with a meaning. I don't like music that has absolutely no feeling to it. I'm fairly picky when it comes to rap, because so much of it just sounds so cookie cutter in comparison to other pop rappers. Because of that I don't listen to much of it. There are a few artist who seem pretty singular and have their own flavor that I can appreciate.
Movies
I like silly movies, drama, animation, and action.
Books
fantasy novels, mostly ones with vampires, gryphons, dragons, shapeshifters, were-creatures and the like. I was totally into Animorphs before the series of books ended.
Music is such a powerful art, I really love classic instrumentals combined with vocals.
Since February 16th, 2007 I have officially been in the most wonderful relationship I have ever experienced, most likely because Chris is also my friend. EDIT: We are married as of March 18th, 2008.
I'm quirky, my mind is always swimmming in the gutter, I'm more than a little off though my friends still like me anyway. I don't wear any makeup because I'm a heathen and it makes my face itch. I am a huge fan of lip gloss though, I think just applying that makes me look attractive enough. Most of the time I say things out of order or the opposite of what I mean, even if somewhere in the garbled mess that is my mind I just may know what I'm talking about.
I am very open, and confide in people that I trust freely... this also applies to anyone i'm attempting to build trust with.
I like to dance, but I really haven't gone to any clubs in a pretty good while. Chris and I will probably start going to them together eventually, he has expressed interest in clubbing with me :)--Since I said this he had gone to the club with me, I had a great time, and he went for my sake. Every time I hear Rhianna's Umbrella, I think of dancing with Chris at the Copa.
As far as TV shows, I enjoy watching Heroes on NBC.com, I'm looking forward to the next season. Before they were cancelled I used to enjoy the series by Joss Whedon; Buffy and Angel. I missed Firefly, but I was instantly interested after seeing Serenity.
I have recently rekindled my interest in T.V. by watching True Blood, I've been reading the series by Charlaine Harris (Southern Vampire Novels) and I am so thrilled they have made it into an adaptation for television. Right now I am watching it via HBO on Demand.
The person I think I've admired the most is Carolyn Farris. Carolyn was my Art instructor at OCCC. She was the first person to flat out say anything I did was ugly, and then she told me how to make it aesthetically pleasing. I truelly respect her for that, I wish she was still teaching because I would attend just to get feedback from her, because she was the one who would show me the way to improve.
